Tudor City - in Midtown Manhattan - is one of NYC's most stunning "secret" neighborhoods. Overlooking the United Nations and the East River, the area's stone facades and architectural details render it unique among the city's architecture.
I wanted to capture the imagery of this unique corner of the city, and to celebrate the details others might miss. To achieve this end, I utilized transparent rice paper to zoom in on small sections of each image, paired with descriptions. The final piece was hand-bound, making it a particularly intimate project.
